Springtails

Springtails are a must-have for all bioactive setups and microfauna cultures. These critters not only help isopods in the process of consuming fecal matter but they also assist in providing the essential nutrients and beneficial bacteria for your plants and soil.

We currently sell the two varieties of springtails we found work best for bioactive setups which are Tropical Springtails (Folsomia Candida) and Arid Springtails (Collembola Sp.) Both of these work great for their respective environments and are even great food for your dart frogs and other smaller amphibians.
